QIS' NDT Training Center has recently organized a highly successful UT Level II ISO 9712 examination, an annual event that aims to foster sustainable human resource development within the company. What makes this particular examination exceptional is the participation of 9 personnel, a rarity among industry stakeholders. Never before have we witnessed 9 individuals undergo such comprehensive internal training, leading up to the attainment of an internationally recognized certification. This remarkable feat not only showcases the abundance of talent within our organization but also reflects our unwavering strength and long-term viability.
ISO 9712 is an international standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), establishing requirements for testing and certification of competence in the field of NDT. UT Level II ISO 9712 demands an in-depth understanding of ultrasound testing principles, knowledge of various ultrasonic testing techniques, and the ability to interpret relevant technical documents. To ensure the utmost dedication and thoroughness in knowledge transfer, we have enlisted NDT Level 3 experts (ASNT-UT MT PT RT/ISO 9712 - UT) as instructors for this examination.
According to one of the participating personnel, "The examination is designed to assess the full range of skills possessed by the technicians, including theoretical knowledge and practical procedures. The most challenging part of this examination was likely the lengthy essay portion conducted in English, which posed a significant hurdle for the majority of candidates."
However, with the mindset of being "ready to embrace success," our QIS personnel have demonstrated their capabilities through their relentless efforts and unwavering determination, proving their competence in both domestic and international competitions. The contributions of these individuals have marked a significant milestone in the company's development journey, and we take great pride in accompanying them on the path to conquer large-scale projects.
