QIS – A MOMENTOUS REMARK IN THE NATIONAL KEY PROJECT “SAO VANG DAI NGUYET”

Sao Vang - Dai Nguyet with the largest jacket ever weighing up to 12,500 tons is a strategic project to spread across the distant seas and the deep seas not only with the goal of searching, exploring, exploiting natural gas sources at Block 05-1b, 5-1c Nam Con Son basin which is about 350km southeast of Vung Tau coast and about 120m deep water level off the Vietnamese mainland, but also assert Vietnam sovereignty of sea and island. The amount of gas and condensate at Nam Con Son Basin is evaluated good for 20-year exploitation life cycle. Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), together with the main contractor PTSC M&C and investor Idemitsu Gas Production (IGP), October 2021, after months of seafaring, QIS’ brave warriors have completed their mission in faith, ensuring progress, quality, safety, high-tech techniques, effectively cooperating with IGP the investor to find the most optimal development solution for the project, as well as solving technical difficulties during the implementation process, bringing the project into full operation, successfully and effectively.
