In the morning of February 24th 2012, in Long Son commune, Vung Tau city, The Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc pressed the button to start the project of Southern Long Son Petrochemicals. This is the project jointly invested by SCG Group (Thailand) and Petrovietnam (PVN) with a total investment of up to US $ 5.4 billion.

From two famous foreign brands in the list of contractors are in charge B&C package of Long Son Petrochemical project: Samsung E&C (Korea) + Linde (Germany), through subcontractor: HUYNDAI, SHIPYARD, AMECC, QIS has confirmed the leading position in the section of Non-Destructive Testing Services in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, with contributions in package B & C High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) & Polypropylene Plant (PP) Long Son Petrochemical Project.

Most of employees are qualified by international recognized independent Certification Bodies such as PCN of the European Union, CSWIP of the UK, ASNT and ASNT-SNT-TC-1A of the US.
