PAUT CRAWLER ROBOT - MASTERING TECHNOLOGY TO LEAD AND GO FURTHER
PAUT Crawler Robot is one of the successful research and development (R&D) products that QIS takes pride in, aiming to be applied in projects and beginning commercialization. PAUT Crawler Robot is considered a special invention, targeting the application of Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) - an advanced ultrasonic testing technology. Specifically designed for this purpose, the robot plays a unique role as a specialized robotics system, conducting inspections and quality evaluations of various structures, such as pipelines, storage tanks, and welds. It can navigate through complex and challenging environments, overcoming obstacles to deliver accurate and efficient results.
The team of highly qualified experts in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and automation at the R&D department shared their insights: "The outstanding advantage of the PAUT Crawler Robot developed by QIS is its flexible control through the use of 4 motors, combined with surveillance cameras." With cost-effectiveness and being nearly the sole NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) specialized unit in Vietnam for self-invention and application, this is the Unique Selling Point of QIS - a distinct path that creates differentiation for the company. Currently, the PAUT Crawler Robot is being utilized in the Dai Hung 3 project and has been approved by the PVEP POC (PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation) for its quality to be put into operation.
